Jim joined Wrong Jovi following the departure of Juan and G in March 2017.
His first band was a tribute to KISS (KYX) who were asked to perform for the Children’s TV show ‘Free Time’ in LWT studios.
Jim has also toured successfully with Monterez, an originals band from Sussex. The band were The Marquee Club’s official support act, opening for TESLA, Great White and Guns N Roses to name but a few.
By the age of 18, his band Dumpy’s Rusty Nuts were touring the countries universities whilst also headlining the Marquee Club twice a month – the band were often joined on stage by legends such as Lemmy, Joey Tempest, Pat Cash and many more.
Having worked extensively with the Princes Trust, Jim has regularly held workshops for musicians. Whilst doing this he was required to perform with Phil Collins, Bob Geldof, Roachford and Wet Wet Wet. Jim has also worked with several tribute acts such as Bootleg Blondie, Snakebyte (Whitesnake) and most recently, Dep Leppard.
Other acts that Jim has worked with include Luther Grosvener (aka Ariel Bender) of Mott The Hoople. During this time he covered Mott The Hoople’s material as well as music from Luther’s solo career, Widowmaker and Stealers Wheel. This period of time saw Jim tour Europe, sharing stages and festival bills with Manfred Man’s Earth Band, Roger Hodgkins and Rod Stewart. He has also performed with Blaze Bailey (former Iron Maiden vocalist) and “the one and only” Chesney Hawkes. Jim has also worked with The Glamsters and White Coast Rebels. He was also a Rotosound Bass Strings demo man, performing at music shows and string demonstrations around the country.
